Call for Demos
IEEE P2P 2008 is encouraging the P2P community to demonstrate their latest system developments and P2P applications at the IEEE P2P 2008 conference site. Each demonstration will have the opportunity to present it in the main conference hall on the main screen. The demonstrations announced in the official conference program, and in addition a two page abstract will be published in the proceedings.
Demonstration proposals have to be submitted (pdf only) by May 19, 2008 using our on-line submission service. Proposals must be formatted as follows:
The first page must contain:
- The names and the full contact information of the authors
- The kind of demonstration (all on site, connection to peers in the home lab, using a P2P platform such as OpenDHT, using a larger test environment such as PlanetLab)
- space required
- time required
The following two pages must contain the abstract that will be published in the proceedings; it must clearly state what the demonstrator will show, its significance to the topics of interest listed in the call for papers and its key contribution. The formatting of the abstract should be double column, 10 point font size and is limited to 2 pages.
Authors will be notified by June 9, 2008, on the acceptance of their demonstration proposal. The camera ready version of the abstract is due June 16, 2008 (extended until June 22nd) and will be composed by the two abstract pages.
Further questions may be addressed to the TPC Co-Chairs or the Tutorial/Demo Chair (email: Nicolas.Liebau@kom.tu-darmstadt.de).
